Think About Turning Today!
A message from Our Club President
A happy spring day to all the YellowstoneWoodturners.
Current items of interest for May:
A) The A & E Committee met at Ray Cutis's home and have formulated plans for
our monthly programs through Feb. of next year.
Also we are planning on a one day symposium on July 14th at the Career
Center [ more club member participation and planning at May's meeting ].
B) We plan to have our monthly meeting for June, July & August at Ron
Musgrave's shop; plus open shop there in June.
C) A reminder to pay this years dues if you happen to have missed doing so
until now.
D) Time to think about getting ready for our biggest " event" of the year,
the "the Fair in August". Entries for the Fine Arts Building and tops and pens
for hand-outs at our booth in the Hobby Hall.
E) We have a source to make bowling pins available to members if we want to
have another club "contest" this fall.
F) Paul Spencer & I attended the Bismarck Symposium this past month and will
make a report.
G) This month's program will be on getting our tools sharp. Bring your "Wolerine"
type sharpening system if you have one. All members are encouraged to bring
your chisels and we'll have a sharpening session.
See you on the 9th.of May.
