 Think About Turning Today!

Well we jumped right into summer; at least that is the way it seems with the warm weather and spring speeding by so fast and to little time to get everything done.
Ray Curtis & his committee are working hard on getting commitments for our fall symposium.
Also the committee has designated this next meeting for getting our tools shaped and sharpened; so bring your equipment and chisels and we will get with it.
The sealant the club voted to buy has arrived; and there will be 5 gallon jugs available for members to purchase. Also there will be wood bowl blanks available ( the members will have to decide if we will have a purchase ticket raffle or just hand out tickets to those wanting wood for a drawing ??? ).
West High classes have ended on a good note with Don Buska's turnings impressing the students as to what is possible for future woodturners.  With the school's help Don and I are working on a club sign that should at least be ready for our fair booth.
Join us May 14th at Ron's shop for another fun and informative meeting.
