Think About Turning Today!
Plans for our Oct. 13-14 symposium are falling
together nicely. It should be a leap forward for all of the participants in
turning skills and methods to turn out ( pun intended ) new products from your
lathe.
My 3 weeks back east (Minn-da-sota) was a fun filled get together with old
friends, fishing, and stops at three different Cabala's.
Yes, I did take time to travel to Strawberry Point, Iowa and pick up bowl
blanks. Varieties include Hackberry, Walnut, Maple, Butternut, & Cherry. This
wood will be sold at the symposium. A great chance to have a choice of quality
wood at a good price.
A thank you to the A & E Committee for moving the symposium planning along.
If you haven't signed up I encourage you to get in on the fun; and save many
dollars over traveling away for this type of learning session.
See you at Ron's,
Stan Lambert
Pres.
