Minutes
Call to Order at 7 PM sharp. We had 24 members and one new member tonight. Randy Hoch joined our group. Welcome Randy.
Red provided us with a joke and Don with the cookies. Thank you both.
Show and tell:
Dr. Van showed us his working wooden lock.
Don Buska Story:
Don brought 8 open segmented spheres. He started with an idea in the woodturners magazine and le it grow from there. Awesome as usual. Don.
Stan brought bowls that he is making for his son's wedding. The family of the bride will be very happy.
Bob Orr brought the next train car . Bob wsa explaining how many hours go into each car.

Minutes were approved as written.
Treasurers Report:
Jane gave her report. Thank you Jane for all the work your work in keeping our books up to date.
Health report:
Ed Levenbedger gave us an update on his fight with cancer. Ed is fighting hard. Our thoughts are with you.
Ron and Trudy were very gracias to allow us to continue to use the shop for our monthly meetings. Thank you!!!! Also Memorials for Ron were set up for the Yellowstone Woodturners. Thank you again!!! Ron will be missed.

Old Business:
A sign up sheet was Passed around to sign up for the booth sessions. Deadlines for the Fine Arts exhibit is July 15th for pre-entry.
Ray Curtis gave a report and started taking money for the symposium. $60.00 for the demonstration only part and $30 more for the hands on. The hands on portion will be limited in how many people can participate, so first pay, first signed up on that part.
New Business:
Trent Bock and Curt Theobald are on the books for our 2009 Symposium.
Next meeting is AUG 6th to get ready for the fair. Ray, Jerry and Paul are heading it up. Please, every one be helpful and sign up for a session so that no one gets burned out.
Stan made lots of blanks for tops and Don made lots of tops for the fair. thank you both!!
The meeting was short because we had a great program.
Program:
Sam Angelo gave a great program on Green Wood Bowls. Lots of helpful hints and we are looking forward to even more time at the symposium in Oct.
